Dr. Leonard does not promote a raw vegan diet. He does promote a temporary raw vegan diet for those whose instincts say they need it, some 6 weeks. Dr. Leonard is against cow’s milk… he does not believe that milk is compatible with humans. He says Americans have the highest consumption of cow milk and the highest percentage of the population with osteoporosis. He believes supplementation is needed if the food you eat is deficient with deficient soil.
Dr. Leonard believes in eggs. He believes in the need for more and more cholesterol, that cholesterol is the building block of the body. He points to the burn units in hospitals that gives unlimited hard boiled eggs because that is the fastest way to build the body. Raw eggs are fine. (this author feels raw eggs are best). Dr. Leonard feels vegans should eat eggs once or twice a week.
